What is Luk fuk hei si Movie 2014 About?
Lui Ming, a wealthy merchant, has been locked in a fierce rivalry with his long-time adversary, Yeung Wai, for as long as they can remember. This time, their rivalry takes an unexpected turn as they compete to become the first grandfather. Yeung's son, Alex, and daughter-in-law, Shan Lui, are expecting a baby, and Yeung sees this as his opportunity to secure the title of "grandfather" before Lui.
In a desperate attempt to win the competition, Yeung threatens his grandnephew couple, Scallop and Snowy, who have been relying on Lui's financial support. Yeung gives them an ultimatum - have a baby or face severe financial consequences. Determined to protect their comfortable lifestyle, Scallop and Snowy find themselves in a disorderly situation.
Feeling the pressure, Lui decides to take matters into his own hands. He hires Gong San, a famous and unique midwife, to oversee and encourage Scallop and Snowy's journey towards parenthood.
